Swimming Pool Construction Basics
This week, we gave a presentation to the Prairie Gateway Association of Landscape Architects. We created this informative powerpoint to touch on all the basics of swimming pool construction. This is just a primer but will give you a good idea of the construction process!
One of the highlights, for me, is the different pool features we build. These include vanishing edge or infinity pools, fire features, laminars, reef entry or beach entry pools, lighting, spray decks and spas.(Check out that splash deck, splash pad above!)
We also want builders and customers to become familiar with the complexity of pool building- site inventory is one of the most important parts. Each property is different and will present its own challenges. However, we want to communicate the commonalities that we encounter: utilities, site access, drainage, city codes and easement/ setbacks.
